A high-end retailer of designer glasses and sunglasses is looking for a contemporary, minimalistic e-commerce website to sell their limited edition products.

Color Palette
The brief called for sleek minimalistic high-end branding. I immediately went for a muted 4 color palette consisting of creme, charcoal, sage, and a burnt orange. The creme and charcoal are a more muted version of their white and black counterparts respectively. Whereas sage and burnt orange are subdued complementary colors.
Naming
I found the name of the brand as well as the name of the frames by using a random name generator.
Font
I decided on Pinkerston, a sans-serif font that blends contemporary and timelessness with its lightness in weight and use of whitespace.
Content
I went on a search for royalty free images of glasses and models wearing them - preferably with colors that matched my vision. As for the icons, I knew I wanted something very simple that can easily convey a message while also being minimal. Photos by Karolina Grabowska from Pexels & Icons by @piqodesign.
Wireframing

After my research, I wanted to create a product page that didn’t look too clinical like the others. I wanted to experiment with vertical text, images, color and text location.
Finished Product

And there you have it! There are a few changes I would like to add, but having worked on this challenge for 3 hours had an outcome I am very happy with. I feel like I did the brief justice and created a minimalistic luxury brand for designer eyewear.
Changes
I would work on the contrast of some of the colors (directory, favorites icon on menu, menu categories).
Look into having a secondary font for the descriptions.
Update the look of the "Select Frames" button.
If This Had a Larger Scope
I would like to fully realize the page and prescription process.
Add to the details section
Add animations
And of course user test the page and change the design accordingly.
